Understand the boundary
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden qualify. The Nordic cooperation reference also describes Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Åland as parts of the Nordic region. Their presence on that page does not make them extra sovereign-country answers in this question. Read the qualifier instead of copying every place from the regional overview.

Choose an answer for your goal
Iceland earns 75 fixed points, Finland 55, Denmark 45, Norway 35 and Sweden 25. A 65-point practice target therefore selects Iceland here. That result comes from this answer list’s ratings, not a survey establishing which country people remember least. For a recall exercise, build a second valid choice even if it has fewer points.
Worked examples — reveals answers
- Iceland · Accepted
- One of the five sovereign Nordic countries; worth 75 fixed points.
- Finland · Accepted
- Included in the five-country set even though a narrower everyday use of “Scandinavia” may exclude it.
- Greenland · Outside this set
- Part of the wider Nordic region, but excluded by this question’s sovereign-country requirement.
- Faroe Islands · Outside this set
- A Nordic territory, outside the five sovereign answers requested here.
Practice the distinction
Predict the results for Iceland and Greenland before checking either. Explain the difference using sovereignty, not their location or whether their names sound Nordic. Then switch to Nordic capitals: a country name that worked here is no longer the requested type of place.

Start with the full category, then apply the exact boundary: The five sovereign Nordic countries. Autonomous territories do not count. You only need one qualifying answer. A longer name is not automatically rarer.

What players actually choose
– UTC · 0 recorded daily rounds. Source: Krillion io daily submissions. Skips and timeouts are included in the denominator; practice and Battle are excluded.
A comparison needs at least 20 recorded rounds for this question. No rarity estimate is inferred from an empty or small sample.
Question quality signals
These measurements cover completed daily rounds recorded with timing and rejection details. Older rounds without those fields are excluded. At least 20 measured rounds are required per question.
This question has fewer than 20 measured rounds.
Review thresholds: below 20% accepted, at least 40% timed out, or at least 30% of rounds with an unlisted input. These flags suggest checking the wording and answer coverage; they do not prove an answer is wrong or change points automatically. Abandoned rounds and practice attempts are not included.
How these statistics work
- What is counted
- Source: Krillion io daily submissions. Skips and timeouts count as rounds; practice and Battle are excluded.
- When comparisons appear
- A question needs at least 20 recorded rounds. An answer also needs at least 5 recorded choices within that question.
- What the data can tell you
- These anonymous browser records are not verified unique people or a representative survey. The player rarity index does not change game points or predict the original Krillion game. Raw submissions stay private.

Why these answers qualify
