Understand the boundary

The three territories are Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Nunavut was established in 1999; Northwest Territories is one territory despite its plural name. Ontario and Quebec are provinces, so neither qualifies. The Government of Canada’s list separates the two categories.

Canada Post lists YT, NT and NU. Those are accepted aliases for the same answers here, with the same fixed points: Yukon 40, Northwest Territories 55 and Nunavut 75. NWT is another explicit alias in our set; it is not Canada Post’s two-letter code. Learn the full place name with its abbreviation rather than guessing a code from initials.

Worked examples — reveals answers
NT · Accepted
Canada Post’s abbreviation for Northwest Territories; resolves to the same 55-point answer.
Nunavut · Accepted
A territory established in 1999. NU is its accepted postal alias.
Ontario · Outside this set
One of the ten provinces. Its postal abbreviation does not turn it into a territory.

Practice the distinction

Before checking, decide whether ON and NT should have the same result. Both are postal abbreviations, but only one identifies a territory. Then enter a qualifying full name and its code and compare their scores.

Question quality signals

These measurements cover completed daily rounds recorded with timing and rejection details. Older rounds without those fields are excluded. At least 20 measured rounds are required per question.

This question has fewer than 20 measured rounds.

Review thresholds: below 20% accepted, at least 40% timed out, or at least 30% of rounds with an unlisted input. These flags suggest checking the wording and answer coverage; they do not prove an answer is wrong or change points automatically. Abandoned rounds and practice attempts are not included.

Answer comparisons require 5 choices and 20 rounds for the same question. These are anonymous browser records, not verified unique people or a representative survey.
